I thought I would show you guys what I just got done doing for my "dual" air cleaner idea. I took 2 factory air cleaners, cut & welded them together, to make one. I just have to install the left-side air hose to complete this small project. Here's a couple shots:

Very cool. How about some more details and pics of how you did the intakes on the ends of those hoses. It looks like a good "cold" air source.

I love it, now if I wasn't running the old oil air cleaner I would do this.

Thanks for the feedback guys, it's appreciated.

69Willys, I can do that no problem. It may take a little time gathering the right pics, but be patient...I'll get it done. I might just go ahead and do a full write-up from beginning to end...we'll see how it goes.

Are the warm air intake doors still functional?

I like I can run the air intake someplace to protect it and not worry about sucking water in the motor if it gets deep. And it looks cool.

As you can see from these new photos, I decided to go with some different tubing. These are from Spectre. They are much more rigid (they hold their shape much better). They also screw into their rubber bushings.

    Thanks CJ5Kyle.

I completed the other side. Here's some pics of the finished product:
