What do your rocker rails look like?

I'm looking for ideas on how to build my rocker rails. Right now I'm thinking a two-piece design; a piece of angle that bolts straight over the rocker panels and a separate rail that bolts to the frame, similar to this:

So who has pictures of theirs?

Mine are similar to those in the picture. I made mine out of 2X2 box tube and bolted it to the frame. [IMG]

Is your frame boxed? Did you put anything on the other side (inside of the frame) for any extra support?

Have you taken any hard hits on them? Your setup is pretty much what I'm looking at doing.

Yes. Really works great. I also had them powder coated and they're holding up nice.

2"x3" square tube, 1.75" dia. DOM tubing.................this whole outrigger system and rock bars were built to pick-up the front down tubes on the roll cage...........if you look you can see the brackets on the outriggers up front, there is a 3/4" high energy body mount puck sandwiched between the outrigger mount and the floor directly below the front cage down tube. All of the body mounts also have the same puck. This allows the body and cage and outriggers to all move in the same moment to avoid cracks.

The only negative is that I cannot use my fender exit headers anymore, so I'm building a new set to exit between the motor and the frame similar to the block hugger type but with longer primary tubes to the collector.

Is that tied in to your roll bar?

Asking myself Brett? Yes, the cage is tied into the frame, and then the rails are tied into those supports. Also a hat channel towards the front.
