My carb on my F head is gushing gas all over and probably needs a rebuild. I have a few Weber carbs on the shelf as well as a new refresh kit for them. Which way should I go? I'll have to buy or build an adapter for the Weber or buy a kit for the stock carb so cost is probably not too much different either way. Reliability and startup are more important than performance, but obviously I'd love to have both.

Not hard to rebuild, or expensive, if the throttle plate shaft is still tight. But take time to get the right kit and go careful. Not all kits are correct for early jeep.

Gushing gas might just be crap in the float valve, or a leak in float.

Whats the best place(preferably with a website) to get the kits? Or just a NAPA trip?
