What thickness of sheet metal should i buy for the sides of my jeep body and what size for the floor? i'm re-building a couple old tubs, a 3B tub and two 5 tubs and need to know what thinkness was used, i tryed to look it up on repro body ads but to no avail.

18 gauge on the sides is what I measured for my '69 CJ5 Canadian manufactured.
For the floor pan sections I used 16 gauge to replace the original sheetmetal.

All of the panels are 18 gauge. The floor riser is 16 gauge. If you are going to be butt-welding the patches, you'll want to use the same material if you are just patching over, it doesn't really matter.
