Happy New Year everyone! I'm planning on purchasing an electric fan for my new radiator that I bought a few weeks ago. I also need the wiring setup for it but I can't seem to justify spending between $50 & $70 on just wiring and a few components. I work on electronics day in day out so I know a thing or two about it so just wondering if anybody made their own wiring setup and curious to know the best location for the thermostat (near the return from the radiator, engine block, etc..). Oh, this setup is going on a 225 V6 CJ6.

    Thanks,
    Hatari

I remember our member Patrick had some nice pic's of his install showing the T-stat and power relay location.

I have two electric fans on my Jeep. Each fan has its own relay and I run them both through a thermal switch mounted in the thermostat housing. I also have a switch that I can turn on the fans when i'm wheeling or in slow moving traffic.
