Christmas Junk

    I've been sourcing parts for a post-Christmas power steering conversion. Anyways, parts arrive, package looks good, open it up...water pump pulley dented!
    Is it worth trying to repair, or do I source another '82 double pulley. Also, do you just hammer away, or is there an actual method of massaging it back into shape?

    That's a bummer. In my hunt for pre '75 power steering pulleys, I've run across lots and lots of the later ones. Both on line and in junkyards. I think you should be able to get another one pretty easily.

    Just another delay, I ended up sourcing another one from George's Jeep Parts. The bummer is that George is shutting his doors, he's been the go to guy for me when I cant seem to find an answer or a part.
