Wanting to add power steering and brakes to 67 cj5 with v-6. Anyone put a salvage brake booster on the firewall and remove heater box? Also, I have seen many photos of the stock steering column used with intermediate shaft routed under exhaust to a saginaw box, but has anyone got advice about a donor steering column ran above the exhaust to a box? Full of questions but any help with these two would get me off to the right track. Thanks.

A search of this forum using appropriate terms should yield plenty of reading.

A number of members here have installed swinging pedals and mounted MCs (brake and hyd. clutch) on the firewall, removing the stock heater.

(I installed a nice 3-speed heater from the rear cabin of a Chevy AstroVan on the passenger side, sacrificing the glove box space)

I used a '78 CJ tilt column with my ps conversion in the '71, along with a Borgeson intermediate shaft. My exhaust was fenderwell headers.
Use the search function, dig around in our old posts, then come back with more specific questions.

    Welcome aboard! :tea:
