Is there a set of brake cylinders 1 1/4" so a guy can put them on the front and put 1" on the back for more braking power?

Mine with 11" drums stops great (unless they get wet)

Upgrading the wheel cylinders can improve braking, but then you just risk overheating the drums and shoes. Upgrade to 11" or convert to disc. Using the search function there are tons of posts on this and there are writeups in the technical section on both conversions. If you can't or don't want to search out the parts yourself there are companies like R&P that offer virtual bolt on kits for both.

By converting to 11" I take it it's backing plates and drums from the pickup,or jeepster?

I got mine from a 75 or 76 postal jeep, front was a bolt on deal, the back I had to drill 2 holes in each backing plate and bolt them on, And you can get most of the parts from your local flaps. very easy upgrade and very well worth it. if you wheel your rig you could drill your drums.

Definitely do a search. Lots of vehicles have appropriate parts for the brake upgrades.

I'm another vote for the upgrade... 2 days after I did mine a person pulled out in front of me, my old brakes would have had me t bone them, with the new ones I was able to safely swerve and have time to blare the horn and finger. Ah, gotta love DC traffic.
