I just bought a 1967 cj5 with a 225 v6 engine. I wonder if anyone can tell me what size transmission, transfer case and rear end came with this model. Thanks

That's what my stock '68 has. The best upgrade you can do is a HEI distributor!! Better performance and better milage.

    Yep, T86 for 1967. T14 appeared in '68.

T-86AA. My brother's 68 came with one. It had some problems and the reccommended fix was to basically install T-90 gears in the T-86AA case.

Thank you all for the information. This is my first jeep and I don't know a lot about them. I know I can't fix it if I don't know what I have. Thanks again Iam sure more questions will follow.

    I'd guess it's a distinction without a difference.
