Looking for speedo gears.

    I'm looking for a source of speedo gears. I will be running 4.88's with 35" tires. I really dont want to shell out the cash for a GPS speedo. Any info will be appreciated.

    I'd put an ad in the classifieds with what speedo gears you need. There are part #'s on them.
    There is also a sticky thread at the top of this page that lists "where to buy parts".
    Might want to try some of the vendors in there. R&P has a bunch of that stuff loose in boxes. If you have the part #'s they may have what you need. 503-557-8911 9am-5pm PST. They are out of the shop until this Friday though.

    What axle gears did you have? The 3.73 speedo gears might be close with 4.88's and 35's. I'm running 33's, 4.88's with 4.27 speedo gears and my speedo is just about dead on. (can't remember part numbers, but if you search here for "speedo gear numbers" there was talk about this, and all the part numbers were listed)

    I dont know what speedo gears that I have or if they are still in my scrap pile. I was running 4.27 gears with 32's and then 33's. It was off a bit. I guess I can quit being lazy and do a little research. Thanks guys.
