D44 outers on a D30?

    I've heard Dana 44 knuckles out will fit on a Dana30. Has anyone done this? I have a widetrack axle I'm building and I need some outers. I went to the junkyard today for some others stuff and found 3 f150/broncos with outers on them. I have aftermarket 4340 inner shafts with a 760x joint.

    They will but you need everything from the knuckles out including the stub axles. Since you have alloy inner shafts with the 760x joint it should be a bolt on. If you had stock inners the inner shafts would need to be changed to match the u-joint shaft of the outer joint.
