Very close. Its actually the bottom holder for the welding bottle. I still have to figure out how to make a latching top to secure it to the table so it can't fall over. I am actually bulding a mobile welding station so I can push it off into the corner when I am not using it. Everything I need will be on or under the table for easy access.

A Piece of motorcycle chain might make a good upper holder. Just knock one of the pins out and drop a nail through it to keep it secure. Or weld a washer to one side and a nut to the other and secure it with a bolt.

Nice welding table. Looks really sturdy. Very unique bottle holder. Three dimensional thinkers make better than average fabricators. Keep on building!

Picked up the top today. 1/2"x34"x50" with a 12"x12" cut out for a plasma grid.

    Very nice!
On my torch cart I used a piece of leftover chain and a small turn buckle. Can easily be adjusted for different tanks and absolutely does not allow the tank to move when tightened up. Won't catch on fire either:)

Looks like that design would work great as a mount for a PowerTank/C02 Tank. I built my own C02 system years ago,,great for tire filling & fixing popped beads on the trail.
