Doubtful. I expect you are misreading the page. Herm and R&P are almost neighbors, and they are selling the same product. I expect Herm's kit is for all four wheels. Here's R&P's page http://pwpinc2.qwestoffice.net/prod_axle.htm

Well, I expect most folks have drums all around if they have the original front axle. 11" drums are very good under most conditions, and are an easy conversion. Disk pads last longer, but these Jeeps are usually hobby cars that don't see a lot of highway miles, so the more frequent maintenance of drums isn't such a burden.

I might not understand Herm's web page but it looks like 600/axle. Regardless, R&P sounds like a good option. I will just need the 72 cj 11 inch drums. I can't believe I could not find them on their web page. I will still call them today to ask about a front disc conversion. I have essentially no parts for the original T-case perk brake and I understand those parts are hard to find. I might have to just go with rear park brake and fab something in the jeep.

That's a better approach anyhow. The D18 is notorious for leaking, which saturates the brake parts with gear oil rendering them useless anyway. 11" brakes in the back will give you the access holes for a parking brake cable.

    It's on my to-do yet...;)

    Call R&P :)
We looked and getting all the parts ourselves but for the cost, R&P is a great deal. I was very impressed with them.

I've put 2 full sets of thier brakes on - the hardest part was getting my old ones off. For the dollar vs the quality you can not go wrong with thier setup.

I am going to get a set of thier Disc rear setups, but my rear axle has the Full Floater in it as well.

I believe R&P is selling the front style set ups for $275 that will work front or rear, just have to specify if you are using them front or rear as the wheel cylinders are different. I believe the rears with all the park brake hardware is $25 more for the set because of all the extra parts involved. The cost of the kit includes all parts new that are available new including non finned drums, hardware and adjuster kits, wheel cylinders, etc. The other parts are all reconditioned. I'm sure they won't sell just the backing plates as they are selling complete kits way too fast. I'd call Paul to confirm these prices, but am sure that's what they are.
