I am not talking building fenders from scratch, I want to cut my fenders down to a Flattie look. Besides buying a Flattie, are there any suggestions or pics?

Personally I'm not big on the look - but I saw this pic the other day and it seemed to accomplish more tire clearance and still maintain a biscuit-fender appeal:

what I found was interesting I had cut mine like the jeep above then the 33's were ripping and killing the fenders with flex where the tires were hitting and tearingthe metal . I then built some tube fenders using the inner fenders and fender tops. and new sides with thicker metal and dimple dies. this REALLY stiffend up the frontend, the jeep felt different going down the road didn't feel like it was bowing in the middle . I want to show them off but don't know how to shrink my pics down. if you cut them like the pic above don't cut them off all the way square kind of dive the line down to get the middle bolts or the WILL bend down and they will make your jeep look sad.

CJ5/442, I really like those fenders. Were those stock fenders you cut? Or did you do a flat fender tube fenders and modify them? More picts would be great.

    I really like those fenders.

Posting multiple pics in a post is just like posting a single pic. Click the "Insert Image" icon for each pic you want to post.
