Is there a good way to lock my hood?

Hi...any ideas on locking my hood? 69 cj5

 

Install hood pins. Instead of the pin they give use use a small lock.

 

Ditto thats my plan.

 

Seen a guy use some chain and a lock under the hood.

 

There are lockinh latches available, I have had them on both of mt CJ-5's. This is the one I have now, it works well, http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.aspx?partID=13242 it's from 4WD Hardware, Quadratech might have somthing similaras well.

 

Just for some basic edumacation, most early CJ's didn't have a hood latch those will work on. They only had the hood hold downs from the fender to the hood. '71 had them, '70 may have, not sure about '69. I know my '68 and earlier CJ's don't have the grill to hood latch..

 

my 69 has a latch you have to move that is in the grill........ not locking but it has one
