Several military vehicles, mine came from an M -561 Gamma Goat. they are quite popular with the military trailer crowd due to the increased lenze area compared to the blackout lights.

 

...wondering if lens section is same bolt pattern as blackout base?...

 

I wouldn't mind a pair for my M416 if you find a source.

 

Yes it is the same as the round blackout light.

there is an oblong shaped housing as well.

Midwest Military has the Gamma Goat full red lenses. Here are a couple of links. Lots of stuff they have could be good for a CJ as well such as the windshield standoffs on the second link.
