225 valve covers

    Hey ya'll.. summit racing lists two sets of offy aluminum valve covers for the 225, ofy 6174 and ofy 5881, the descriptions are the same and they have no pictures so can anyone tell me what the difference is??

    It looks like the Summit description was duplicated for both part numbers. According to the Offy web site, the 6174 covers are for 1977 and early 1978. The 5581 covers are for 1962-76, 78,79. Those are really good looking valve covers. I had a set like them on my '55 Chevy. I'll try to post the link here.

    I have a pair of Holley finned aluminum valve covers currently on my 65 225 that I would be willing to trade for stock steel ones.
