Tie Rod Clamp

So I got my tie rod kit today, tie rod, tubes, etc, and it seem the clamps are a bit to small for the tube, did they send me the wrong size.

 

Don't know/can't see what you have.
Typically you would have to open/spread the clamp to place onto the tube.

 

Doubtful, they are normally smaller in diameter so when the bolt is tightened, they clamp the tube in place.

 

Is your actual tie rod an OEM part? The heavy duty aftermarket tie rods are usually larger diameter.

Have you contacted the manufacturer/vendor? No pics to see what you’re dealing with so no idea if right or not. We’re flying blind here.
