    Hi,
Is anyone familiar with the front bumpers on CJ5As that came equipped with winches? I'm curious about mine. The cutout for the fair lead looks factory, right down to the chrome. Have not seen anything like it on the Internet. I can send pics on my phone, but am not smart enough for the computer picture thing yet. Any leads appreciated.

What type of winch is this? Assuming you have one, PTO eletric

Pictures would really help, I use photobucket. I don't recall seeing any dealer brochures on the tux showing a winch though.

Koenig PTO winch. I will work on the photobucket thing. I believe the owners manual lists the winch as an option. There is also a tailgate mount tire carrier, with rib for the inside, that is on it. Aftermarket I am sure, but the weird thing is the factory flip up license plate bracket and light bolts right up, like it was made for this application. If there are any curious Tux people out there, I can email pics if you pm an address.

Didn't work, did it? Sorry for the empty posts. Having a heck of a time posting photobucket links or pics.

The 1965 sales brochure does list a winch as an option. It also lists a pto, front and rear output.

John, copy and paste the direct link from Photobucket by itself. Let me see if I can make it work...

I looked at your post on the notification email, but they are not right either...

John if you use the link from photo bucket that says its for forums that ought to work for you. If that doesnt work then put these scripts before and after the image.

Thanks. I'll snap some more pics soon, and post the link. Think I'm getting it figured out. Anyone have any thoughts on the bumper? Looks factory, but I have nothing to compare it to. If anyone follows the link, there are some other pics. Any ideas on manufacturer of the can holders and spare tire carrier appreciated.

Someone did a very professional job. I have never seen a bumper like that. Are the edges of the bumper near the winch chrome plated? If so the bumper was re-chrome plated after it was cut.

I would say that that someone made the rear can racks too. They were chrome plated.

What year is your Jeep? Keep the side steps in the box as they are highly sought after. Early Tux steps were chrome plated.

Someone took some time modifying your Jeep. Yes more detailed photos too...
