my kids got me a new steering wheel for my 74 cj5. I removed the 1 1/4 nut and brass bell for the horn assembly but cant get the steering wheel to budge.....So I looked at 4wd and quadratec for pullers and cant for the life of me figure how they would help in popping the steering wheel loose.....Ant advise would be greatly appreciated....

Looks like he beefed up the puller. I have one of his earlier ones and all it did was damage the steering wheel and bend the puller the first time I used it. To be fair I was going to contact him about it but couldn't find his contact information so he couldn't do anything about it (not his fault). Glad he is improving them as it could be a great tool.

seems like a fair price too for all the work involved with making one.

I got one of his pullers about 18 months ago. I SOAKED the spline with acetone/ATF (50/50) for days, put on the puller and tightened it good - and left it sit for several days. More magic fluid and some additional tightening, and left it overnight. Next day I assaulted it with a a hefty wrench and dead blow hammer. Finally popped off.

Worth the money even if you only use it once.

I thought the steering wheel and shaft all the way down to the worm gear was one unit? I didn't know you could put different steering wheels on

Do you have a FSM? if not you really should pick one up, steering is fully explained in it.
