    Is there a better Carb you can put on stock manifold?

    Have you tried to fix the one on it? Does it have a Rochester on it? There may be a Holley for it.

    You'd need an adapter but I know of a couple of guys running the Motorcraft 2100/2150 and are very happy with them. I'm still a Rochester fan but it all depends what you're doing with yours.

    I run the 2100 on my 360, like it, never stop even in stiff angle.

    the 2GC is about as good as it gets really.. Dead reliable and will run at nearly any angle.. Unless you are looking for more power and have the other mods to support it, I would stick to it.. If you are having issues with it send it to guaranteed carbs in Florida, they do amazing work..

    i put a carter afb 600 cfm on my stock 2bbl intake. got the adapter from local auto parts store. runs a little fat but really comes to life after hitting the gas. the spacer is 1- 1-1/2" thick so it has more fall into the intake. i had it tuned down a bit so it wasn't running so rich. looking back i would keep the 2g now that i'm not into the speed thing anymore
