It's been a while, but I'm finally working on my '73 CJ6 resto. I searched the forum and everywhere else. Can anyone point me to a supplier for the turn signal assembly? Mine is almost beyond restoring.

I also thought when I disassembled it the grille had the welting where the hood meets, but research tells me it just used bumpers. Can anyone clear that up too?

    Thanks!

The actual switch that mounts on the column? Is anything salvageable? From time to time someone posts looking for parts for the column mounted assemblies.

As far as replacement ones, assuming you don't mind them not self cancelling, autozone and napa both carry them IIRC.

I know ebay is a good source aswell.

On top of the grill, where the hood rests, welting was used. I still have the factory welting on my grill.

Put an ad in the classifieds for the turn signal switch. Someone here probably has a rebuildable or good unit collecting cobwebs. As for the welting might try Hermtheoverdriveguy. He was selling it but with rivets instead of the clips.

Thanks for the feedback. I went to PA Jeeps show this weekend and now can refurbish an original Spartan signal. I'll try hermtheoverdrive guy for the welting; didn't have any luck finding that at the show.

I have a turn signal switch off of my '68 collecting cobwebs out in the garage. If you need it let me know.

I've wanted to refurbish my Spartan signal switch & was wondering if the info you got from the show was a kit or something like that. If you didn't need the switch from Steve, I'd be interested.

It sounds like CJ4ever fixed his turn signal switch so JeepinJewels if you still want the switch that I have it's yours.
