are you talking kingpins out or alignment out (toed in/out). if it's just align. run a meas tape on the inside of the tires,. in the middle of the side walls, and turn the tie rod to toe in about 3/16",1/4"?, also make sure the threads are kind of equal. I did the gofer convertion and added a Big Daddy tierod kit for the $ I thought that BD kit was well worth it. If it's you king pins............. I've run my own aligment this way for years and tires are perfect.

Well, it is definitely toed in, but it seems like the top of the tires lean out over the bottom of the tires too. So that would be kingpins right? Should i just start by adjusting for proper alignment? Would that adjustment possibly correct the other problem?

Gentlemen, stupid question probably but do these kits work with the stock ross tre's. I just put a 2.5 lift on brutar and I know I should go with a Saginaw setup but for now I just want to get the tie rods to a more level position, rebuild the drag link, bellcrank and tre's. Saginaw can come later, thanks

That's a good question......... that would be an early Jeep taper on those ends and the taper may be the same but smaller in diameter than the later stuff...........I would call GoferIt and ask away before you buy. Dial...336-317-7130

Jeep CJ's used the same taper and depth on the mounting stud up to '86.
