Got some more done on the Jeep. I finished the front fenders and welded them to the floor pan. then cut out the side pannels. the yellow side is from my old porsche door that was rusted out and the white side is more of the washing machine. I had to splice 2 pieces together above the wheel since i didnt have a piece long enough. I used up most of my scrap sheetmetal on my garage roof  Then i added the square bar around the wheel opening. ill do that all around the edge of the tub also once i get the doors cut out

finished the back end and edging and tailgate opening. also made the dash board. didnt get a pic of that yet. and I found a jerry can flask might look good on the back. I think the dimentions are a little small but we'll see how it looks.

Got alot more done on the jeep as you can see. decided to go with a more traditional setup on the steering since i had the room for it. Throttle not quite as traditional it will be actuated with the horn button. I made the tail light housings from valve spring cups and 1 1/4" refletors fit in perfectly. The windshield folds down and the glass frame will hinge out. but iv got to figure out all the hardware to make that happen. shouldnt be too difiicult

Looks like you are going with the M-38 army jeep route (tailgate, shovel/axe on passenger side, gas spout on the body) It would look cool with the headlight guards and the slave recipticle on the hood too. Thats cool!

Im not really going for any particular model but I wanted to do the tailgate. Plus when its down I figure i can carry a passenger because their toes will stick under the seat :) Ill probrobly do the headlight guards and maybe a fender light. Im just going to add accesories until I think it looks right

This is awesome. Looks like a possible side project idea.

What are the dimensions roughly? I know 1/3 scale but length and width?

Glad you like it! The body is around 19" wide and 38" long plus the bumpers. Whenever i neaded a measurment i just took it off my 2A and got it as close to 1/3 as i could

Is that electric lime green? I like the color. Everything is looking great. Have you thought about a 1/2 scale jeep with a 4x4 atv? Maybe your next project.
