Does this fender hood gap look normal

My friend sent me a photo of his jeep which looks beautiful. Then I got to thinking does that gap between the hood and fender look normal? It looks a little big to me.

 

Looks like the fender has a bow in it in the center.

 

Could be the fender or the grill needs to come down .

 

Weird thing is it looks like that on both sides

 

Looks as if the two radiator support rods are tightened down too much! Also the front portion of the fenders on both sides are sloping down from the grill. Just looks like a little tweeking of the bolts and rods should correct that.

 

That's what I was thinking it looks like it needs a bit of adjustment

Fiberglass?

 

My fiberglass fenders are the same way.

 

I've had and seen aftermarket steel fenders bow like that right out of the box.....

If it is a replacement body then he may have tightened the support rods too much (like Willswilly said) trying to get things to line up properly. I had a devil of a time getting everything to line up with my repop tub and ended up twisting one of my fenders in the process.

 

I thought that maybe the hood was bowed on both sides, making it look like the fender is at fault.
