OK I'm at the point where I have to buy ball joints and I will be able to finish the front end rebuild. Does anybody recommend a certain brand? Is there a difference between the parts stores $20 and moog's $50 ones. Thanks in advance for all comments.

Spicer or Moog. Anything else and you will be replacing them again too soon.

FWIW, I only use Moog, on my customers' vehicles and my own.

I put in Spicer, it just felt right to put back in the OEM part. I'm a bit leary of other brands, MOOG excepted.

I’ve been running TRW for several years without issue. Some say TRW is not the same part as Moog some say they are, both are owned by the parent company Federal-Mogul Corporation. Last I bought them they were half the price with the same warranty. Just another option

I think Advance Auto carries MOOG.

Spicer can be had from Six States Distributing and R&P.

Just a fyi, I ordered the Moog ball joints. Got them from rock auto for $25.99 and $29.99 a piece, so not too bad. Thanks to everyone for the input.
