Ok cool I'm going to hae to start looking for some Interco TSL 29x8.50-15LT then but the normal going rate for them seems to be $140? Thats seems to be abit much for a tire that small?

Cost has little to do with tire size(except in extreme sizes) but a lot to do with the volume of sales. the more a tire sells typically the lower the cost eventually becomes (most of the time). A tire that size is not a volume sales item so the price must be higher to be worthwhile for the manufacturer to build and sell the part to begin with.

One thing i have learned from experience with Interco and superswamper tires is that they CAN last a decent amount of time on pavement if you take really really really good care of them. Meaning check the preasure once a week and every week and rotate every 3 thousand miles. Seems extreme but a buddy ran 35x15.50 r15 tsls on a 1980 full size blazer for almost 5 years and had well into 30k into them by the time they were shot. My interco LTB's were 33x13.50R15 and I took the same care with them and when I sold them, i had put just shy of 3000 miles on them and you could still read the word SWAMPER stamped into the large outter lugs. My personal opinion and I mean this will all kidding around aside, i would personally suggest a set of BFG KM2's or pro comp xterrains for your jeep. Fantastic tire off road (from personal experience on my rigs) and both do great on the pavement without having to babysit them like the swampers. Good luck on your choice.

Well this is the wheel and tire combo that I have finally chosen the tires are GoodYear Wrangler Radials 235/75R15's and the wheels are 15x7 Crager D Window's. It actually looks really good!

Good job-the 235's are the perfect size for a stock CJ IMO.

BFG A/Ts will do fine on the road. Plus they are good when you do need traction.
