Transmission or differential gears? Checked the oil levels?

I have the same problem and I am 98% sure it is the exhaust pipe vibrating against the brake/clutch pedal shaft. If your exhaust pipe runs over top of the cross member, check to make sure it isn't touching the pedal shaft.

The worn needle bearings and shaft on the intermediate gear in my Dana 18 transfer case made that type of noise on deceleration and coasting.

Mine had a "fast chattering noise" on coast at about 30-45 mph.
It turned out to be the linkage on the park brake drum.....

Check simple basic things like u-joints and driveline angles first. These are the most common issues. The items mentioned can definitely cause The symptoms. Even loose crossmember bolts can cause them. Go over the Jeep carefully and make sure everything is adjusted/tight and go from there.

Also check rear pinion bearings. There should no play other than rotational. Noise on deceleration is a classic symptom of bad pinion bearings.
