Outboarding rear springs?

    I've got to replace a couple spring and shackle hangers on my 73 and was wondering if it would help stability by outboarding the rears while I am at it?

    It will help stability but reduce articulation.

    I think I'm OK losing some articulation. Its a trail cruiser and driver for the most part. And I see a military trailer in its near future
