Disc Brake/ Knuckle Stud Conversion Question

    I am about to finish up my front discs on a '59 CJ5 with Dana 27 front axle. I have drilled out the knuckle holes for the knuckle stud conversion and purchased Mopar #J8124847 studs, and was wondering what the best nut to use to hold the backing plates/wheel cylinders together? Any suggestions? From what I've read on here, nylon isn't a good idea in brakes because of the heat created. Thanks in advance, and I'm going to start a thread of my build in the builds/fabricators section because i'm going to need a lot of help.

    aircraft style lock nuts are preferred and that's what came factory on later Jeeps with disc brakes and open knuckles. These are sometimes referred to as pinch nuts or top lock nuts. If you can't source them locally then I'd try McMaster-Carr as they will have them.
