Figured its time to post a pic on my junker. This first one is the day she came home last July.

Got busy and forgot tell ya all about it a bit. Here is some of what I did.

Started with Hellcreek 4 inch springs. Added another 1 1/2-2" inch of lift with shackles and toped it off with a home made 1" body lift. Tires are 34X10.50X15 swamper LTB's one rock crawler 15X8 steelies. The stock D44/30 axles have the 11" drums . Both front and rear axles have Aussie lockers with Rockcrusher covers. Shocks are Softrides.

Replaced about 70% of the floors and 50% of the rotted out body mounts. Replaced all of the TRE's, tie rod and drag ling with Trail forge's heavy duty kit. Also had to flip the passenger side tie rod on the knuckle to the top for better steering angles.

Used to have ugly bench seats so I bought a 73 partster just for its nice buckets and some sheet metal and switched them out. Got lucky and it came to me with optional power breaks and power saggy steering. Had tons of electrical problems that took forever to get sorted out.

A local shop to me called Derailed Motor sports custom made the front and read bumpers as well as the rock sliders. At the same time they tucked a Warn XD9000 Neatly behind the grill.

This winter I will be tearing down the top end of the stock 304 to freshen it up. Probably rebuild the stock 2100 carb at that time too.

Its mostly sat in my driveway for the last year since getting it while i threw tons of sweat and cash at it. Almost ready to take it out and beat the snot outta it.

Hell I am all ready thinking about updating the axles and 38" tires..

Nice - Just got a set of Alcan 3" lift springs for the '73. We'll probably put @ a 1" body lift on as well - what ever will clear the 305/70/16 ProComp setup we got a good deal on for it. Keeping the D30 with Discs and D44 in the back and power Saginaw, put putting in a fresh 360-T18-D20 setup with some fresh paint and wireing. She should be ready to roll between Thks Giving and Xmas - we hope ;)

    Fnord5 El Jeepo Gigantico!

The first picture, ugly. I was wondering what sane person would want that Jeep, or even admit to having it.

But, your mods, the paint, the soft top, the meats, and all the work you have done have changed my mind. Nice Jeep.
