    Hi all

Front fender this time. The area where the wheel is. (not the engine side, the other) Would you paint this black or white (the color of the tub is white)

And the same applies for the rear fender, would you put it white or black ?

true, it would be easyer to paint it all one color so you would not have to worry about tapeing and over spray

If it's not on a lifted jeep, Id say paint it black and use some undercoat on them for rust protection.

Body color gets my vote. My Silverado pickup is white, and I like the way the white fenderwells look.

Nuther vote for body color. If it was mainly used for offroading where you'd be touching it up with a rattle can from time to time, I'd go black, but if it isn't going to be chipped up on a regular basis I'd go with the body color.

All the inner/under panels of all these Jeeps were body color. Mine has some "undercoat/chip guard" under the original paint color.

It should match the body. Looks best to me.

I choose the SEM Bedliner paint WWII Army green on my Bronco II. Thinking about doing my CJ5 the same.

Check out the post "Windshield frame color" on todays' new posts - you'll see a photo on an assembly line - you can see factory color of wheel well there.

Not to change the subject, but why is that rear fenderwell square?

    Hi all

Thanks for the input, and thanks for posting that picture, it is now on my desktop. I choose to go with white, inside and out of the fenders. Here is a before/after pic of one of the fender.

Looks good Bob. I think you'll be happy.
FYI: There is a plasticizer that you can add to the paint that allows for flex. This is the same stuff that is added to the paint when it is sprayed on plastic bumpers and trim. It keeps its strength/hardness, but will keep it from cracking when it does flex.
