Steve, I think it looks pretty awesome the way it is. I think hubcaps would only detract from what is as close to perfect as your gonna get. Besides, I'd hate to see you dent a hubcap.....or have one roll down the mountain as you bump into a rock......

The color is 2001 Jeep "Solar yellow" and I shot it in the driveway with a cheapie HVLP gun from Lowes.

Thanks for all the compliments and input guys. I like the look the way it is too, but I've always had a soft spot for the "stock" look. Maybe someday I'll be able to score a set of 7.50x15 Firestone Suburbanites to put on the stock rims.

Looks great as it is. I'd leave it.

I'm gonna offer a dissenting opinion - I like the look of stockers. Thinking of ditching the chrome waggies myself.

Of course if you did it first I'd kinda know what to expect. :D ;)

I like the stock white steel wheels myself. I would leave off the hub caps. For a pic of stock wheels with caps go to introduction & garage pics & look at "dads new jeep".

Well, I like the stock moon hubcabs - I have a set of the AMC R/W/B center ones on my pickup. Not such a big fan of the dog dish (?) caps.

The wagon wheels look good though. Back in the '70s, they were very popular - I had a set.

I like it the way it is, with the white wagon wheels. To be truthfully honest "Dutch" and "Animal" are the only 2 jeeps that come to mind that I like with the stock KH wheels on them. Most all the other Jeeps have looked to plain to me with the factory rims. My honest opinion.;)

I'm ditching the wagon wheels on Linus for KH 15x8 wheels despite what McRuff says about boring. ;)

I voted with Bob. Stock look. Just looks cleaner to me. I don't knw if I'd put hub caps on it though. Just white stock wheels for me I think.

not a big fan of wagon wheels, but they look good on your jeep. I do like the hubcaps, but only on 8" wide rims. so if anyone out there is running them on thinner rims, best you remove them immediately and ship them here so I can get rid of them for you:D I like stock rims on stock looking jeeps. I would stay with what you have, they fit, they work, and they look nice.

Boring is nice once in awhile.;)
I'm not usually a big fan of Wagon Wheels but on Steves Jeep with the paint job I think it looks good and much better than the stock wheels he had at Tellico.

Ok, so would you guys disown me if I used a stock rim and one of the Jeep hubcaps on the Kayline spare tire mount? My spare is also a "Baby Swamper"

Nice Jeep! I prefer stock wheels, white, no hubcaps.
