d 27 high steer

    hey does anyone have some good ideas for a high steering knuckle on a dana 27? i have already checked out some plans i found here, but just wondering how some of you guys did it with a spring over
    any ideas will be great

    I thought about it for a while, I was going to make an arm from the 4 bolts on the top trunion and use a long bolt and bushig to tie it to the factory arm for strength. Obviously I would have milled the top of the trunion flat. Instead I just made my tie rod from 1.5" .250 wall DOM.. yeah like I'll bend that...

    The drivers side steering arm from a truck/wagon D27 will bolt onto the passenger side of the CJ D27 - in place of the upper trunion.

    Warning: This information is old. I researched this a looooong time ago. I'm only about 95% sure it's correct.

    I may have one of the D27 steering arms from a wagon that is part of the upper trunion. If interested email or pm me.
