Just doing more searching on my end. It looks like that is a Corvette Clutch fork. It was in a parts group that came with my 225 donor jeep. I guess it will not work. Unless it adds 50hP to the Dauntless. :)

    Hey Dan,

I think I bought an after market fork from you years ago. Do you remember if you ever ran it on a 225?

I'd be hard pressed to see any difference other than it's a luk branded crown/omix fork. That being said, the forks didn't pop off of the pivot stud once during install. And I worked the bejeebus out of it while it was installed to see if I can pop it off while maniacally actuating the clutch fork, before I put the transmission up on the motor. And course with my luck it will pop off at the last moment, as I tighten the final bolt, causing me to either pop a blood vessel in my brain and die out of anger, or go buy a TJ.

I may or may not need an oem fork, will keep you posted

Sorry to hear it’s similar, but it’s working! Seems like a tighter spring fit than the Crown one I have. Thanks for the update!

it looks the same, off angle as the crown unit was. maybe a little angle of the pic, but it looks the same as the crown/omix unit.

So the same problem as the Crown one Sam won't sell any more? I wouldn't use it. At least he has been forthcoming about the problem. As he says-
"If you buy elsewhere, please inspect before you install. The pivot spring must be perfectly centered side to side and the "V" part of the spring must bi-sect the ball cup perfectly. I'm 99.9% sure it will be defective."
I am wondering why one couldn't remove the rivet, weld up the hole, re-drill, and re-install the spring in the correct orientation, being as no one has found a suitable replacement.
