    TIm E Aggressively average

FWIW, the original style grab bar mounted in the original location does not interfere with the windshield latch...

Thanks Tim. That's good information. I'm not sure I don't like the bar further to the side anyway. With the lift I have it will make it a good grab for climbing in. And how often do most folks fold down the windshield? A few times a year I'd think at the most.

Had to clearance the radiator above the steering gear. (With a hammer)

    Here's mine with wires.

Do yourself a favor and use flex loom. You can get it really cheap at Harbor Freight.

The welting went on pretty easily. Mini torch and hot poker!

Next I deleted the radio delete and added this switch panel.

How much paint did it take to paint the entire Jeep?

She’s outside hooked up to the truck. I’ve done everything myself but the wire harness I’m giving to a professional.

Looking great. I'm still working my way through wiring mine. It's not a hard job, but it's my first time doing a vehicle from scratch and it does take a great deal of time to do it neatly. I'll bet you can't wait to get it back and fire it up.

My Build dropped back to the 3rd page so here's a bump and small update. It's been maybe 3 weeks since I towed the Jeep 15mi to Milton FL to have the wire harness installed. After doing nearly everything on this build myself I was intimidated by the crazy amount of wires that came out of the new fuse box. This guy, Chad works for the county doing all the wiring on the sheriffs cars and county service vehicles so I'm sure he is the right guy for the job. He does Hot Rods and such on the side and did my neighbors old (maybe 52) Chevy truck.

Visited last night to see the Jeep and bring him some small stuff. He is really close to being done. Needs to wire the wipers and some small LEDs I bought for the engine compartment and an interior light. Looks like I may get the jeep home this weekend!!

A good alignment and some bleeding of the brakes and I may be able to drive her around a bit next week.

I got the Jeep back the other day after several weeks with the guy who did the wire harness. It seems he did a great job, everything looks super neat and everything seems to be working except one taillight.

First thing I did was put the seats in. I taken them out to make it easy for the wiring under the dash.

I love these steps. I got them from a guy on one of the Facebook CJ pages.

This is why I paid someone to do the wiring. 5 bad connector tries for 3 wires.

I changed out the taillight for a spare I bought but still not working. It's always the ground you say, and it seems like it is this time as well.

That is a bright idea. Pun intended. The Jeep looks incredible. Great job.
