Got this several years ago because it was marked T98. What does this fit? Anyone interested in it? Pretty much just a case and shift tower.

T-98 is the predecessor to the T-18. Lots in common. WG Div is Warner Gear division of Borg-Warner. F134 Jeep CJ or Ford pickup. Earlier Jeeps used it too, like the FC-170 etc. The F134 model has a plate adapter between the transmission and the T-90 bell. Might have some value to someone nearby.

FCs had the side shifter. I was in contact with a guy selling one locally (Focker brought up the ad in the utility section). He also had a T98 with a side shifter for the FC. But I was too slow- it all went back east to Ohio.

This trans has a top shifter.

FC's with the T-90 used a side shift case. The T-98's still had a top shift but the shift rails extended out the front of the shifter top for the linkage to hook to. Technically it would have been a front shift. That does not look like a Jeep or IH T-98 as the rear bolt pattern for the adapter is wrong. I'm guessing real early Ford or industrial application.
