Identify this transmission PTO?

I just picked this PTO up. Can anyone make a positive ID? It's a transmission PTO and is supposed to be out of a 4sp 1974 CJ5. So it should be from a T18 transmission. But seller said that it was mounted in the passenger side, if then transmission was out of a Ford and not out of a Jeep. It does have Forward, Disengauged and Reverse. No markings on it except Spicer on the U-joint and the number "24058" on the large gear. The U-Joint is fitted for a hex shaft and not a round one.

You need to get the brand and model # and have someone like Six States Distributing look it up. That style and bolt pattern of pto unit has been used in literally thousands if applications with different gear diameters, gear tooth counts, and gear tooth pitches. You will need the gear tooth count as well. Plus, is it single directional or reversible?
    Tons of variables here.
That style is typically power in one direction only unless it has an additional gear set. It also typically runs off the transmission cluster gear (when transmission mounted) so needs to match that gear.

Nick, yes it is reversible. There are NO brand/model numbers on it other than what I mentioned. I was hoping someone here was familar with the transmission type PTO used on Jeeps (IF they even were!) and might be able confirm if this was one of them.

I have looked at Eaton and Warner catalogs and haven't found any PTO that looks like this one.

PS I tried to post other pictures but for some reason all three pictures look the same on this forum even though the URLs are different! ???

IIRC my M-715 Kaiser (Jeep) truck had one. (Four speed transmission, 6 cylinder OHC engine)
