i need to replace one of my front u-joints and while i was under there i was just trying to move stuff around
i found that there was some play (left to right) in the slip part of the drive shaft
just wondering if i should of replaced it a while ago or was it good that i found it now?
and i tried looking for a replacement online, and they dont have anything that fits 75 and older
    i have 78 and 1/2 axles and a 73 t-case, dont know if i need special parts
    thanks

I salvaged mine from an Cherokee XJ and had a driveshaft shop shorten it. Cost me a total of about $60. Plenty of options online. Heard that Tom Wood's is a good place to go too http://www.4xshaft.com/

X2. I am very pleased with their shafts, and fair prices.
