John , here you go on a quick drawing............the solenoids and switch suggestions are just that! I have the old Warn Bellview style Winch also but I'm not really sure of the Amperage rating on that motor.........Herm sells the motors so he may know , I will try to figure out what Solenoids I used but there old and I see no numbers. Do your Homework on sourcing. The Bosch Solenoid mentioned below should be fine.

    Corrected Drawing Sorry about that!

terry99 your 3 switches should be connected to power instead of grounds. You have no power to activate the solenoids.

this may sound silly but if i remember right there is an "s" and an "I" on the two little posts i believe you hook the trigger wire to the "I" right? i never seen a ground run from either small post i thought it grounded itself with the bracket.

i wound the cable onto the winch tonight and i cannot believe how fast that thing is. i had an old wind up winch with some large cable on it and after 15 minutes of unwinding it i found it was too big for the winch. spent another 15 minutes winding it back on and took off the other cable from the other winch.

Diff solenoids for diff jobs. A starter type solenoid will have the "S" to the starter term on ignition switch and the "I" will go to the + coil for ign bypass.
Other heavy duty solenoids can come with only one small terminal for power "ON" and the solenoid coil is internally grounded.
Other solenoids have two small terminals unmarked so one requires power and the other a wire to ground.
