    First, Welcome!

There is a "where to find parts" sticky post at the top of one of the forums. May get some leads there. Collins Brothers, Border Parts, J&W, and others sell parts for these old Jeeps.
Before doing that though I'd put an ad in the Classifieds forum. Someone on this board may have some they are willing to part with.

Please fill out your profile. It shows where you are located and can be helpful info when someone tries to answer questions. Plus, someone may be right around the corner from you and not even know it!

If you haven't yet make sure you introduce yourself in the Introductions forum.

Finally, PICS! We love pics! Nickmil

I've got a couple of Smittybuilt seats for my 60. Discovered that "built for 60 CJ" apparently means "build your own frames or cut the back supports off the factory frames". I posted on another thread asking for advice - I don't necessarily want to destroy old but good factory parts, but I'm steel fabrication challenged. Are the 60 frames the same as the 64? The seats need a rebuild (have all the suspension intact & sagging), but I can't find anyone down here that is willing to do it for less than the cost of France.

Good luck to you! Those are very hard to find, and a crapshoot. Most of them either rotted away or were tossed for "something better and more custom". I bought one set for $250, then another set for $10. Also have a drivers seat that's just the frame and springs, paid $50 for it. Just gotta keep your eyes open, visit Jeep boards, watch Craigslist and eBay, etc.

Ditto-- they are hard to find. The frames are the priceless part-- it they still have the springs, all the better. The upholstery is the 'easy' part, as far as I know. I'm sitting on (pun unintended) two drives and a passenger seats, just waiting for the rebuild.

There's a passenger seat that's been on Ebay for a while-- something like $175 plus almost half that to ship it. To its credit-- it looks to be in excellent shape.

I am almost to the point where I am going to ask my fiends dad to build me some. They make/build ultralite airplains and if I can find some good pictures I am sure he can build me some with the small metal tubing...etc that they use to make some of the stuff on these ultralites. I am sure it will look good too. What are everyones thoughts on this option?

Probably could be done. Certainly would be more expensive/time consuming than buying used.
