I am wondering if there is a specific companie(s) who make a 10" or 11" brake conversion kit that I can just order for a stock 1968 Jeep. I am also wondering if there is a companie(s) who make a front disk brake conversion kit as well. Any leads would be much appreciated. Thanks, Dirty

There are no companies offering a disc kit. It can be done with parts from other vehicles though. Check the technical section on the opening page for details.

Herm sells 11" drum kits as well as R&P. Herm's site is: www.hermtheoverdriveguy.com

Both are very worthwhile upgrades that I would HIGHLY recommend.

R&P does in fact offer front disc brake kits for early Jeeps as well as 11" drum brake kits. Their # is 503-557-8911. Nickmil.

Check your local wrecking yards for backing plates from donor vehicles, check the tech section off the home page.

It's my understanding that you CANNOT use the stock Willys 16" steel wheels with disc brakes, is this correct?
