Continue to work on the body. Going to have to replace the A pillar on the passenger side. Got a lot of the smaller holes welded up, until I ran out of gas for my welder.
    Did get the grill primed.

Did place the V6 badging just to boost my spirts.

Back story on this FC. It is up in Minnesota, not far from my company's warehouse. I say it posted a few months ago when I was up there. I contacted the seller and was set to go look at it and was going to store it at the warehouse until I could get it shipped down. Went to go look at it and seller said he sold it. Apparently, that sale fell through, I saw it posted again, on a different sight, called the seller, same guy but totally, different story...I was going to let it go, as to red flags. I called our CFO on Friday and he said he would go take a look at it. I called the seller to arrange a meeting and the number is no longer in use.

It is a learning experience, but I am getting a better handle on it.

It looks a little ugly, but it is solid.

Drivers side started and completed. Did it a slightly different way much smoother.

I used plug welds to attach the outer body to this replacement, on both sides. Bottom line for me is the rust is gone and the structure is back.

I am just waiting on the passenger a-pillar replacement, then the major body work is complete and I can get to the, primer, body filler and sanding part. o_O

Got the last of the the major metal work done. Now just a few minor bits and then lots of primer, body filler and sanding...

I am sure not the way most metal workers would have done it, but the rust is gone and it is sturdy, so I am good with it. :)

A little more done. At least I don't have to deal with rust on the bare metal. Will start in the interior and prime, then the underside. Body filler after that, sealer and then color!
