Or......Maybe it's none of the Above ? I'm steering toward the probability that it's leftover from one of your old uni joints ? ....Yeah.....that's the ticket, LoL.

( I'm also bet'n witcha that you will NEVER do that again ! )

Every body most likely knows what this is :
    ' C ' Clip.png
..... And we may know what this is called :
    Inverted External Retaining Ring.png

    Anyway.....
Before my story begins, I want to send a sorta technical beware bulletin to ya'all . The 1st , blurry pic ( sorry ) , is a 'C' clip . it was used by AC Delco & others to hold back the power piston on OEM master cylinder's.
    # 2 is known as a retaining clip. It is presently being used by at least two foreign aftermarket MC mfg's , possibly more.

What I ran into , & it cost me a a whole lotta time , frustration , delay , heartache , & a bit of dough to make it right , was that a power brake unit's Power Piston will bind and score itself against the latter retaining clip. Then it will lock up your pedal, & rip it out if you pull your pedal back up . It simply won't fit thru the center . :banghead:
Please , for your sanity & well being, Check the back of ANY new MC that you are about to use. Then, when you find something similar to pic # 2 , R & R it with your original ' C ' clip. Don't be like me, I never even thought of checking for this.:schooled:

I'll have more after the game tonite.......Oh....BTW, the Disc Brake conversion was the best thing my ' Rosie ' has ever had done.
    Thanks,

I agree. Saw it happen on a GM cabover. U-joint failed at tranny end, hit ground, flailed around inside the frame and broke the brake line. Emergency brake on back of tranny was of no use after that. 55 MPH with no way to stop. Moral - just do the right thing. It's such an easy fix that could save your life, or others. I would not drive it anywhere until the issue is fixed.

    What the heck?
Is the plug/cover on the dash a factory thing? Seems I’ve seen others with this cover. 1964 CJ3B

I busted this fitting that attaches to the intake manifold and has a hard line that goes to the PCV. Does anyone knows what is the name and where to get it? Thanks!

1/8" NPT elbow to flared tube fitting? The flare fitting parts seem more likely to be found at the parts store. You can likely also find it at McMaster-Carr or other online hardware supply. What's the size of the tubing that screws into it, 1/4" OD?

I'd get it at the Grainger store near me, if Home Depot did not have it: Flared Tube Fittings - Tube Fittings - Grainger Industrial Supply

Grainger is fast; their website recognizes me and I can order it online with a click for pickup tomorrow at their counter. Not the cheapest, but efficient.

Generous offer from Lockman, but I suggest you take it to Napa and match it if you cannot recognize the type of fitting by looking at it. I believe it's the 5MTE6 (1/8" NPT) or 5MTE7 (1/4" NPT) from the Grainger site.
