T98A bellhousing adapter? If so, don't toss it.

992667 is a late Kaiser era PN, like '67-71. T-18 to one of that era's bells. Looking now ...

Well, my connection at work won't let me download a parts book, so it will ave to wait till I get home.

I have other picts in there of it. Should work for the T98 and the early T18's (not sure if the pattern changes). HAve to look to look deeper in my thread to see if it's a bell adapter for the buick bell or the transfer adapter, I don't recall atm.

Small rectangular pattern may be for the T-90 bell (as used with the T-98). Larger rectangle would be T-14 or T-15 (they are the same pattern) but not GM. T-98 and T-18 are the same pattern and match the 4 outer asymmetric holes. The T-18 case is unchanged for Jeep through 1979, and after that it only applied to the J20. Here's the J20 transmission - looks the same. Maybe ... I can't be certain without looking up the number.

Picts of it in my T98 thread, I think it's against the T98, before the Bell Adapter

    Vintage T98, D18 and Overdrive

this link has the part number and what it's used for: [edit direct link broken]

and as is mentioned, is used for other adaptations.

Ok, so this part is for the 258 T-18 through 1979. '72-79 J-truck and Wagon, or '72-75 CJ. As mentioned, the larger rectangular bolt pattern matches the T-14 or T-15, and the smaller rectangular pattern is for the T-90 bell to the F134. The T-90 holes have been added, since they slightly obscure the cast-in PNs.

Dane, your link does not work for me.

I know only one angle doesn't show enough but does anyone know what these would have come from? Doing a thorough garage pruning and I'm trying to figure out if these are saleable or scrap fodder.

You're missing the actual mount. Here are some pics.
