Which early CJ had a chrome grill?

...if any. I've seen a few on this site and I've seen the grill overlays for the intermediate, larger parking light, versions but I haven't been able to determine if they were stock. My new to me '64 CJ-5 has one and also chromed hood and windshield hinges, front non-stock bumper, grab handle and rocker moldings. This car is not original and probably not a Tuxedo Park model (VIN 57548-136428). It seems to be Jeep hash. It had the 4 cyl replaced with 225 6 cyl but the rest of the drive line is intact with the T90A, T-18 1 1/4" shaft, Dana 25/44. Did the PO have a friend at the chrome shop or might some of this be original?

    None, AFAIK. All aftermarket/custom.

There were some '80s? CJ's with the Laredo package with a chrome grill overlay factory but otherwise aftermarket like Timgr said.

I thought those were all YJs. I don't recall any with round lights.

The Laredo package had a chrome overlay for the grille along with some other chrome goodies

I've got one (for the large CJ marker lights), don't know if it's factory or aftermarket...
It's been a garage wall decoration for ~18 years... :)
