The little plastic pieces into which the screws, that attaché the panel, cowl vent intake cover (group no. 22.016-1) to the duct, fresh air intake (group no. 22.020-1) screw are gone or are totally useless on the 1974 CJ5. Anyone have a suggestion for a replacement so I can secure the panel, cowl vent intake cover? See Jeep Master Parts Catalog F-74080 R2 '74 thru '80 for parts references.

I may have saved a bunch of those mainly because I've never found anything similar. Would be nice if someone has a working replacement.
Just thought I'd add this link if you wanted to check them out and see if they have anything similar-http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/?Click=2

    nickmil In mothballs.

Can you post pics of the pages you are referencing? Realistically, how many of us will have that parts book to reference?

If you are talking about the same thing I'm thinking of, I believe I used a metal clip type fastener for the screw to bite to. U clip speed nuts? Found those at the big box hardware stores.
