    1970 cj5 with a 225 v6, a dana 44 with flanged axles, a t86 (i think) and a dana 18 transfercase, and a dana 27 in the front

    my questions are
do i need a axle spacer in the diff?
what weights of oil do i need in the transmission, transfer case and front diff?

also is there any where i can go to find out all torque specifications for the rear end of my jeep?(or at least anything related to the diff)

how do i know where to start with shim spacing?(measure the old one then just go from there?)

    nickmil In mothballs.

A Factory Service Manual or Technical Service Manual will answer all these questions. A search should net some suppliers for this. They show up on e-bay as well.

80 W -90 is spec.. AS for the the torque spec and shim spacing you need to be more specific? Are we talking pinion?
