      Welcome to the CJ Forum.

I don't get on here as much as I would prefer,

but This OL MARINE has found a lot of advice and direction on this site!

Have had my 72 CJ5 since new and always felt I could handle just about anything.

Especially.... after serving over 26 years in the Corps... :flag:

but One week, while up in the National Forest and after a good three days of rain and more rain, my CJ-5 Jeep and a few large bolders.... well... this ol Jeep awakened me real quick.

But these post(s) as I said quickly contained answers for my Detroit locker Dana 60 differential and Atlas transfer case needs. A few questions were answered via messages and further advice gleaned from their knowledge and experience in many post(s) assisted repair of my ol three speed transmission! My repairs were extensive... but were not as bad as I had expected in the beginning. I have enjoyed my membership in this forum and certainly hope you also enjoy yours! :)

There are many on here with more Jeep experience than I, but with the teamwork and knowledge to draw

from.... this site is an asset to draw from that enhances everyone's Early CJ-5 Ownership Experience!

The Jeep ownership stories and descriptions of areas of opportunity others have endured regarding the parts and component failures and repair descriptions.... including their journey to correct their tasks and how small steps.. became larger strides to success and PLUS, finishing the repair of their Jeep and then their back in the Mud and/or Trails.... WELL... This is what makes this site very special!!.

Welcome to the Early CJ5 Forum
