#1, only because the text on #2 is hard to read, especially when moving.

Got the wheels back from the sandblasters, I thought they were painted at first! After loading, he told me that they also do power coating. Figures, I didn't ask how much, but I'm set up to do what I'm going to do with them.
Perfect place to paint wheels, and they stands they're on spin easily;) epoxy, paint, the matte clear.
    these are 9" wide
    [IMG]

This one wheel is at least 1 or more inches narrower~ I don't know if I should use it, or use it as a spare? just with a smaller tire? 8" wide

^^Obviously it would work as a spare.... Although my OCD would kill me that I did not have 5 of the exact same spec.

Hi Dne'... looking at page 37 of your build (previous page) I notice your 7 or 8 bladed black fan...and I really like it... I would like to get rid of my stock 4 bladed one on my '69 Dauntless... I want one that moves MORE AIR.... where did you get it..? Real nice job you are doing... all your work is very well done... I am enjoying following your build postings.

I sent 1928 an email regarding the fan I used;)

Derale Performance Plain Stainless Flex Fan

Thank you for the wonderful compliments! As for the fan, check the link above~ as for the spacer, I'll have to recheck what I used, I bought a 1 1/2 first, then to a 1" bought from amazon. But if you're running the big HEI distributor, it won't clear the vacuum advance, unless it's clocked differently. I had the HEI, but didn't like it and went back to the stock distributor with the Pertronix upgrade.
    I hope this helps!

geared up to paint epoxy;) Just can't make up my mind to do these in gloss or matte

the tops of the stands are ball bearing and spin easily, great for painting wheels

Just to add to your thoughts on the 'spare' wheel. I rotate the 5 or 6 wheel/tire combos I have for my rigs while driving them - all part of the process. Mine do get wheeled more than road work, but the even wear helps my pocket book justify buying them when they get low, and I keep them all in good shape that way.

Nothing worse than having to pull out the spare and finding it flat because you haven't used it since you bolted it on the carrier.

You have all the best toys.... I'm gonna send my stuff over shortly

Well done with the wheels. They're black, but I dare say classy enough for this crew.

I like the matte that you chose over the gloss.

While working on the wiring, I put the windshield/frame back on;) I really don't like wiring, at least it's nice and clean everywhere! Ok, back to LOST (3rd time around);)

Those are not the same wheels she has. Hers are an aftermarket white spoke, those are later model factory CJ white spokes.
